Tom Hart, Jordan Rodgers and Cole Cubelic will be SEC Network’s top football announce team

When Brent Musburger left ESPN earlier this year, it left an opening on the SEC Network. Musburger, Jesse Palmer and Kaylee Hartung formed the SEC Network primetime team for college football last week, but with Musburger and Hartung gone, it allows ESPN to bring together a new team. Tom Hart, Jordan Rodgers and Cole Cubelic will be the men who will call featured games on SEC Network.

Hart and Rodgers will be in the booth while Cubelic will be stationed on the field. Rodgers and Cubelic will be co-analysts on the broadcasts.

ESPN says Palmer will remain with the network and his new assignment will be announced at a later date.

For Rodgers, it’s a meteoric rise in his second year with SEC Network. Last year, he was both a studio and game analyst, but now he’ll be on the main football announce team. Asides from his years quarterbacking at Vanderbilt, Rodgers also appeared on The Bachelorette last year. It appeared that Rodgers was parlaying The Bachelorette to jump start a career in TV, but ESPN said it had been pursuing him prior to him joining the reality show.

Cubelic is an alumnus of Auburn and has been both an analyst on ESPN college football games as well as a local sports radio in Alabama.

Hart has called multiple sports for ESPN including college baseball, college basketball and college football. He’s also been utilized by ESPN Radio on MLB and NFL games. Hart has also worked for CBS Sports Network and Big Ten Network and called selected Atlanta Braves games.
