The Golden State Warriors completed a sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Finals with a 119-117 overtime victory Monday night in Game 4.
But before the game at Moda Center, one Portland fan remained very optimistic about the Blazers’ chances.
In a live interview with Bay Area’s KPIX 5 (CBS), an enthusiastic fan said the Blazers would beat the Warriors “in seven.” He then added that the Blazers “are gonna win in five against Milwaukee” (in the NBA Finals).
KPIX reporter Dennis O’Donnell responded with, “As you can see, cannabis is plentiful here in Portland.”
Let this serve as a reminder that doing an interview with a news station representing the opposing team’s city is asking for trouble. And especially if you being the interview with telling the reporter, “You’re out of your mind.”
