If your computer screen is visible while you’re doing a television spot, it’s probably best to either turn the screen off or at least be careful about what the screen is showing.
Jake Gadon, a sports anchor for KOVR, Sacramento’s CBS affiliate, did not do that during a spot on Tuesday night.
Gadon did a spot for KMAX, KOVR’s sister station, on Tuesday. The spot was about the Las Vegas Raiders firing their head coach, Antonio Pierce. There was nothing particularly out of the ordinary about the spot — except for one minor detail.
As Matthew Keys observed, one of the computer screens that was visible behind Gadon had a Rihanna ad front and center. The ad in question is for Savage X Fenty and features Rihanna wearing some particularly revealing lingerie.
“Jake Gadon, a sports anchor with CBS station KOVR-TV, was doing a live hit for sister station KMAX-TV last night but forgot to clear the extracurricular research from his computer monitor,” Keys shared on Bluesky.
