Originally scheduled for July 20, the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson was postponed last week due to Tyson’s ulcer flare-up.
While there was some concern that the fight might never happen, and that certainly remains the case, Netflix announced Friday that the fight was officially rescheduled for Friday, November 15, 2024, and will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The fight will still be broadcast live on Netflix.
A rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano is also rescheduled for the same day.

“Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly. I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best reschedule date for all parties,” said Mike Tyson in a release. “While we have a new date, the result will be the same no matter when we fight. Jake Paul is getting knocked out.”
We’ll see if the fight still takes place by the time November gets here. Netflix would certainly love that to happen as they continue to expand into the world of live sports.
Earlier this week, SI’s Chris Mannix said that some people involved in the event remain skeptical that the fight will ever happen.
“There is genuine concern from people that are also on the card — I mean, there are another number of fights that are also on the card — about this specific card moving forward,” Mannix told Rich Eisen. “Again, Mike Tyson is 57 years old; he’s almost 58 years old. They’re saying it’s a minor ulcer issue, but I don’t think anything’s minor at that stage of your life, especially when it comes to putting yourself in the proper shape to fight a professional boxing match.”
