One World Sports CEO talks about furloughs and future of the network – Nov. 30
Sources told Awful Announcing that “ONE World Sports has furloughed much of its staff,” and that vendors have not been paid. CEO Sandy Brown told us the reports were “inaccurate,” saying “The bottom line is that this company has a very bright future, and we are intent on seeing that realized.”
Adam Schefter signed a five-year extension with ESPN. The new deal will allow him to do sideline NBA sideline reporting. Don’t worry, he’ll still be doing NFL coverage for the mothership and won’t be taking NBA jobs from other ESPN reporters.
