The first round of the NFL Draft is tonight, and ESPN has pulled out the stops for their coverage in Dallas. That means a special edition of College GameDay, a hallmark of which is the moment each week that Lee Corso puts on a mascot head or something similar to announce his pick for the marquee game.
Tonight, with no game to pick, Corso still managed to get into the appropriate spirit, as long as you consider the appropriate spirit to be Lovecraftian horror:
It is tough to dispute the likeness, up to and including Kiper’s famous hair. (Though that makes it even creepier.) It’s somewhat reminiscent of one of Bojack Horseman‘s more surreal moments:
Corso’s wave has never been creepier, either. Jim Brown seemed a bit put off; his bemused “You guys having fun, boy” really sold the segment.
