When Netflix broadcast two NFL games on Christmas Day 2024, it felt like a changing of the guard. Millions tuned in to watch the Kansas City Chiefs continue their march toward a famous three-peat with a 29-10 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They then hung around to see the Baltimore Ravens’ 31-2 tear apart the Houston Texans, with music superstar Beyonce even making a special halftime performance.

A year later, the streaming giant was at it again. Netflix broadcast more Christmas Day games in 2025, namely the Dallas Cowboys’ victory on the road at the Washington Commanders and the Minnesota Vikings’ upset against the Detroit Lions, ending the playoff hopes of Dan Campbell’s men in the process. Now, the new kids on the block are upping their game.

Netflix will exclusively stream five regular-season games in 2026, including one in Week 1 and a TBA game in Week 18. But which teams are currently confirmed to appear on the streaming heavyweight? Let’s take a look.

Los Angeles Rams

Online betting sites are big on the Los Angeles Rams heading into 2026. The latest odds from the popular 5Gringos online sportsbook currently list them as the +750 favorites to win Super Bowl LXI next February – on home turf at SoFi Stadium, no less. Much of the optimism is centered around superstar quarterback Matthew Stafford, who won the MVP award last season after leading the league with a whopping 4,707 yards and 46 touchdowns.

But Sean McVay and his front office in Tinseltown knew that if the Rams were to have any hope of lifting a second Lombardi in five years, they would need to address the secondary. Ultimately, they have done exactly that, acquiring Trent McDuffie from the Kansas City Chiefs for the 29th overall pick, signing Jaylen Watson on a three-year deal, and retaining safety Kam Curl on a three-year, $36 million extension. The offense then remains elite, with wideouts Puka Nacua and Devante Adams looking to build upon the monstrous numbers they posted en route to the NFC Championship game last term.

Netflix viewers will get to see the Lombardi favorites twice in 2026. First, the first Thursday Night Football of the season on September 10th, when the Rams face off against divisional rivals San Francisco in Melbourne, Australia. Then, Wednesday, November 25 — Week 12, Thanksgiving Eve — at SoFi Stadium against the Green Bay Packers. The bookies will make McVay’s men the favorites to win both.

San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers head to Melbourne for their Week 1 Netflix showcase against the Rams as a team at a crossroads. Last season, they somehow reached the Divisional Round of the playoffs, knocking off the defending champion Eagles along the way, despite being riddled with injuries. Now, they gear up for a divisional grudge match on a stage the NFL has never set foot on before, with enormous NFC West implications before a single regular-season game has been played anywhere else.

The headline move of the offseason is the addition of veteran wide receiver Mike Evans from Tampa Bay, giving Brock Purdy a true alpha receiver and one of the most experienced red-zone threats in the game. Defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa arrived from the Cowboys for a third-round pick; linebacker Dre Greenlaw returned; cornerbacks Jack Jones and Nate Hobbs bolster the secondary. But they will still be very much the underdogs when they strut their stuff on Netflix at the stunning MCG.

Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love enters Year 3 of his $55 million-per-year deal with something to prove and a team genuinely capable of proving it. The Packers are one of the NFC’s most intriguing outfits — young, energetic, and carrying a record-setting five primetime home games at Lambeau Field in 2026. But still, their collapse throughout the back end of last season, once Micah Parsons went down with a devastating ACL tear, cannot be overlooked.

Two Netflix appearances anchor Green Bay’s season. Wednesday, November 25 — Week 12, Thanksgiving Eve — at SoFi Stadium at 8:00 PM ET, against the Rams. Then Friday, December 25 — Week 16 — at Lambeau Field against the Chicago Bears, one of the most storied rivalries in NFL history, on Christmas Day. Is there a more loaded Christmas Day matchup in the league than a Packers-Bears clash, under the lights at Lambeau, with both teams fighting for playoff position?

Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos took the AFC by storm last season. Aided by the collapse of both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens, Sean Payton’s side claimed the top seed in the conference last season with a mighty 14-3 record. Their exploits would continue throughout the playoffs before promising young quarterback Bo Nix was downed with a broken ankle on the final drive of their Divisional Round win. Backup Jarrett Stidham then took over under center for the AFC Championship game, and he couldn’t find a way past the New England Patriots, with the season ending in painful fashion.

The Broncos will feature just once on Netflix next term, and it’s a big one: a repeat of last season’s Divisional Round clash against the Buffalo Bills. The last time these two met, Nix managed to keep his cool and lead his side to an upset 33-30 win in one of the greatest playoff games of all time. Now, he will welcome Josh Allen and Co. back to Mile High as he looks to repeat the feat.

Buffalo Bills

Perennial AFC power. Perpetual Super Bowl expectations. And now, a franchise navigating its most significant coaching transition in years.

Sean McDermott was fired following another postseason disappointment, this time at the hands of the aforementioned Broncos. Offensive coordinator Joe Brady has since been promoted to head coach on a five-year deal, while Brandon Beane was elevated to President of Football Operations. Yet through all of it, the foundation remains Josh Allen — one of the two or three best players in the entire NFL — and the ambition hasn’t shifted a single degree.

Two of the AFC’s superstar quarterbacks, namely Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, have both strutted their stuff on Netflix before. Now, Allen gets his chance. His Bills have one appearance on the streaming giant: That Christmas Day trip to face the Broncos at Mile High. The 2024 MVP will be hoping this trip to the Rockies doesn’t end with him in tears, as the last one did.
