When Super Bowl LIX was over, Nick Foles, who quarterbacked the Philadelphia Eagles to victory in Super Bowl LII made an observation about the team’s Super Bowl wins as they relate to Tom Brady.
Brady, of course, was in the building on Sunday, calling Philadelphia’s win in Super Bowl LIX over the Kansas City Chiefs for Fox. He was also present for Philadelphia’s first win, which came seven years earlier when Foles and the Eagles posted a 41-33 in Super Bowl LII, with Brady quarterbacking the New England Patriots.
That means Brady has seen both of Philadelphia’s Super Bowl wins in person — something Foles couldn’t help but point out.
“It’s really cool that Tom Brady got to be there for the Eagles’ two Super Bowl wins! He might be a good luck charm,” Foles said. “Have a great night!”
In fairness, Brady has also been present for one of Philadelphia’s Super Bowl losses. Still, there’s no disputing Foles’ claim.
Brady himself even joked about that after cameras showed Nick Foles in the building during Philadelphia’s win in the NFC Championship Game.
