Ryan Fitzpatrick is a social media menace. And Bill Belichick is his latest target.
The journeyman quarterback has turned into one of the sharper and more charismatic football analysts on television. And it’s not just on Amazon Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football telecasts, but on social media as well.
This one may have fallen under the radar a bit, but it was still a mic drop moment nonetheless. In replying to a tweet about Bill Belichick’s MUCH younger girlfriend’s Halloween costume channeling the legendary coach from an NFL aggregator account, Fitzpatrick just couldn’t resist the temptation to get in amongst the replies.
And in doing so he had an encouraging message about true love… or something like that.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Bill Belichick’s love life, he is now linked with 24 year old Jordon Hudson. Bill Belichick is 72 years old. To help keep that in perspective, back in 2000 Belichick first began coaching with the New England Patriots. He had already served as a head coach for the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets (if you want to count the Jets stint on his record). For what it’s worth Belichick’s ex-girlfriend Linda Holliday also wore a costume with a message geared towards him… except it wasn’t quite as friendly. Come to think of it, Ryan Clark also dressed up as Belichick for Halloween on Inside the NFL. Who isn’t dressing up as Bill Belichick this Halloween?!?
As for Ryan Fitzpatrick, he’s now taken some fun swipes at Tom Brady, Dan Orlovsky, and now Belichick in recent weeks. Who’s next on his list? The Mannings better watch their backs…
