Connolly will be able to serve in his new role at YouTube as court proceedings progress.
Former ESPN executive Justin Connolly left for YouTube after recently signing a multi-year agreement to stay at ESPN.
"Connolly will serve as the emissary between YouTube and the world of traditional media and entertainment," per Bloomberg.
Justin Connolly is leaving Disney and ESPN after 25 years with those companies.
