Gamers have long loved NHL ’94 for its revolutionary features and the way it changed the video game genre. NHL fans have an affinity for the game and sometimes wax poetic about it. Well what if I told you that ESPN, long criticized for ignoring the sport, did a highlight in the style of NHL ’94? It’s true. It actually happened on the Friday late night edition of SportsCenter as ESPN put the Los Angeles Kings-Montreal Canadiens highlights to the graphics, music and style of NHL ’94. Enjoy.
Now if ESPN could do this a few more times and add more hockey highlights, it might mend a few fences with puckheads.
