Stan Savran is going to want this one back. During the first intermission between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Columbus Blue Jackets, Savran was trying to explain how the Penguins were being completely overwhelmed by the Blue Jackets. The analogy he went with was an uncomfortable comparison to the protests over the Eric Garner “I Can’t Breathe” death in New York.
Jay Caufield, a former Pittsburgh Penguins forward, could only shake his head in disbelief.
