Kyle Brandt won’t be hard to find this football season.
Not only will the NFL Network star remain in his longtime role as a co-host on Good Morning Football, but he also has a new show set to launch with Vice Sports. Produced in conjunction with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and NFL Films, NFL Classics: After Further Review will serve as a ManningCast-style show in which Brandt will rewatch some of the league’s most famous games alongside celebrity fans and the players who played in them.
“While production is ongoing, it’s already clear that NFL CLASSICS: AFTER FURTHER REVIEW is going to be a special series that football fans won’t want to miss,” Vice TV president Pete Gaffney said in a statement. “These aren’t just great games—they’re emotional time capsules, and hearing the players and fans relive them with total honesty, humor, and heart is pure magic. We’re also fortunate to have a tremendous personality like Kyle Brandt to guide us through each episode.”
The six-episode series will debut on Wednesday, Sept. 3, with Brandt rewatching the 1995 NFC Championship Game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles alongside Cowboys legends Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin. New episodes will debut each Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, with the schedule including the following rewatches:
- Sept. 10 – Super Bowl LIV: Chiefs vs. 49ers, with Heidi Gardner, Eric Stonestreet & Chris Jones
- Sept. 17 – 2010 AFC Divisional: Jets vs. Patriots, with Bart Scott & Method Man
- Sept. 24 – Super Bowl XXXIV: Rams vs. Titans, with Kurt Warner & Cedric the Entertainer
- Oct. 1 – Monday Night Miracle (2006, Week 6): Bears vs. Cardinals, with Brian Urlacher & Sebastian Maniscalco
- Oct. 8 – Super Bowl XXI: Giants vs. Broncos, with Phil Simms & Chris “Mad Dog” Russo
As Omaha Productions continues to expand its portfolio, the project marks the latest installment of Vice TV’s shift toward sports programming. As for Brandt, the series seems to be right up his alley, between both his ability to connect to celebrities and ex-players alike and passion for football new and old.
